Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Summit 2019
IBC Materials & Technologies (IBC) participated in the 2019 Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Summit held in April at Nashville, TN.
IBC showcased a number of technologies and products as well as communicated the advantages of using high performance coatings for Army’s demanding applications and components. IBC’s high performance coatings increase the life of components that experience high wear, corrosion and erosion in the field. Increased life of components results in high availability of equipment and lower costs for US Military. Our coatings are designed to provide better performance and longer life to military equipment as well as protecting US soldiers by providing functioning and durable equipment. IBC is a supplier of many high-performance coatings including PEO, DLC, and PVD used to improve wear and corrosion resistance in a wide variety of demanding applications. To get a better understanding of the products IBC offers and how they may benefit you or your company, please visit our website https://www.ibccoatings.com and connect with us on LinkedIn to stay up to date with future events where we will be in attendance.

FABTECH - North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event.
IBC had developed and patented a new type of locator and welding pins, that combine high wear resistance, extremely low coefficient of friction, high electrical insulation, and toughness. Pins were tested for more than 2 years by the major automotive customers in toughest applications, including high strength steel and hot forming, with reported life extension up to 14 times compared to commonly used products. IBC can supply the pins in standard sizes and custom dimensions, magnetic and non-magnetic materials.
September 2014 - May 2015
IBC collaborated with Purdue University’s Materials Engineering Department to sponsor two engineering design projects. Investigated coating systems included Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) and Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC). Advanced research and production efforts were investigated by the Purdue teams with great success.
