IBC Coatings Technologies and IBC Materials & Technologies has received certification to the ISO9001:2015 standard. This underscores IBC’s ongoing commitment to improve its processes and increase customer satisfaction. While the upgrade to registration to the ISO9001:2015 standard was compulsory, the long-term benefits to meeting the requirements of the revised standard were the impetus.
IBC has modified its original Quality Management System to comply with the new revision including:
- Greater emphasis on requirements and planning to meet those requirements.
- Planning for and achieving Customer Satisfaction.
- Expanded delegation of responsibility for quality to all employees.
- Addition of risk-based thinking in planning activities.
Implementation of the revised Quality Management System was carried out over about an eight-month time period. Employees at all levels of the organization actively participated in this project and continue to make improvements today. Customer Satisfaction is the goal of every employee at IBC.
